   OPENS IN NEW WINDOW

Inside Issue 33:

Interview: Transcript of Mavis Nicholson's second interview with Peter Cook and Dudley Moore. The pair seem much happier and more at ease with each other compared to the last time they spoke with 'Mave'.

Best Of What's Left Of: In 1991 The South Bank Show featured an episode dedicated to Private Eye. As seems always the way, more than half the material used for this show is now sadly lost. This item features transcripts of interviews with Peter Cook, Barry Fantoni and Willie Rushden.

Sketch: A slightly different version of tht old classic, One Leg Too Few.

South Bank Show Extracts: Bits and pieces from the final show, lovingly transcribed. Features Peter Cook, Richard Ingrams, Ian Hislop, Auberon Waugh and even "Cap'n Bob" Maxwell.

You Need Hands: Eric Hands worked for Private Eye from about 1970 - 1976. He speaks to the Holy Dragger about his time there, and shares with us some of the many photographs he took.

Interview: In early 1979 Lord Gnome appeared on Tonight (a current affairs style show). Lord Gnome speaks from the South of France, summing up the previous year and explains what he'd like to see occur in the forthcoming General Election.

Sketch: In this sketch entitled "Diseases" Pete tends to a sickly Dud.

Interview: A Bit Of A Chat with Peter Fincham; the head honcho of TalkBack Productions. Among many other things TalkBack were responsible for A Life In Pieces and Why Bother?
